The Briarwood Jr. High boys basketball team took a pretty good beating in their first game against First Baptist Pasadena, but bounced back to beat West Columbia.
The offense was okay but the defense is what really shined Thursday night. The Jr. High Mustangs’ defense kept West Columbia out of the paint and forced them shoot from the outside.
The Mustangs’ next game is Monday at home, 6:30 pm.
