Varsity Tennis – Tuesday – matches at Briarwood – 4:00. If you are not participating in the matches, you will not have practice on Tuesday.

Thursday and Friday – Practice 3 – 5. Coach Trevino will update this schedule as needed.

Varsity Track – Shot and Discus will practice Tuesday and Thursday from 3 – 4.

All runners will practice Tuesday and Thursday from 3 – 5.

There are no practices for track or field events on Friday.

Saturday – Meet at Fort Bend Christian – No transportation provided. - Shot and Discus need to be at  the meet at 8:A.M. – Field Events begin at 9.

Runners need to be at the meet by 11:00 A.M. – Running events begin at noon.

Monday, February 13th – Junior High Tennis and Track will practice from 3 – 5. Wear previously issued athletic practice workouts. Meet in the field house @ 3:10.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY, 17th – ALL TEAMS  – NO PRACTICE!

Junior High Basketball – Congratulations on your season. The All Star game will be on Monday, February 13th. Girls @ 5 and the Boys @ 6. There will be a 3 PT. contest between the games. Coaches will inform players involved in the games and 3 PT. competition.

Please turn in all basketball uniforms next week. Place the CLEAN uniform in a bag with your name on the outside of the bag. DO NOT turn in practice work out uniforms. Keep these practice workouts for next year. Students who do not turn in game uniforms by Thursday, Feb. 17th  will be assigned a detention on Tuesday, February 21st. Thanks for your help.

Golf – Monday and Tuesday – practice at the driving range – 3 – 5.

Tuesday, February 21st – Tournament at Stephen F. Austin Park – Directions on the web site. Coach will let students know if they are attending this tournament.  Driving range @ Stephen F. Austin will be open at 8:15. Play begins at 9. Transportation is not provided by the school. See you there!

The Junior High Track Meet scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 21 has been cancelled.

Upcoming Event – Junior High All Star BB Game at Briarwood – 3 players will be selected to play in the game at Briarwood. Girls @5 – Boys @ 6.

Varsity Golf, Tennis, and Track – Practice Monday. Meet in the field house at 3:00. I will go over the rules and sports folders. I do this each sports season with every sport so all athletes understand the athletic rules and sports folders rules. If you or your child do not understand the rules of the Briarwood Sports Program, please email me @ briarwoodsports@aol.com 

and I will email you a text copy of the rules.

Golf – you will NOT NEED your golf clubs on Monday. Practice will be over by 4. Coach will explain the practice schedule for the rest of the week.

Tennis – Bring a racket and wear a previous issued workout or appropriate tennis practice uniform. Coach will explain the appropriate clothing for practice. The Varsity will be divided into the Blue and Green Team. We have Tennis Tops available for the Blue Team to purchase. The Boys tops are $20 and the girls are $28.

Monday and Tuesday – Varsity Blue and Green Team will practice from 3 – 5.

Thursday and Friday – Varsity Blue Team will practice from 3 – 5. The Green team will not practice.

Track – Wear a previously issued workout. You will practice from 3 – 5. on Monday. Tuesday. Thursday, and Friday.

Schedules are complete for all sports. I hope to have them on the web site ASAP.

Varsity Winter Sports – Please turn your game uniforms  in to me  in a bag with your name on the bag. Do not turn in the practice work outs Students who have not turned in their uniforms or paid for lost uniforms by Friday, February 10th  will be assigned detention beginning Monday, February 13th. This will be assigned daily until the uniform is returned or paid for. Thanks for your help.

Tuesday, January 31st – Final Game of the Season – Senior Night.

Games at Briarwood – Girls @ 4:30 and the Boys @ 6. Send $6 for food.Students will remain after school and be supervised by coaches.   Good Luck !

Thursday, February 2nd – Games @ Cornerstone Christian. Girls @ 4. Transportation provided. Directions on web site. Send a snack.

Boys will play at Cornerstone @ 5. Players will be sent home after school. Coach will post the names of players on the travel team for this game. Have your athlete at Cornerstone Christian by 4:30.

Friday, February 3rd – Boys and Girls practice 3 – 5.
